LESSONS


Meadowvale farm provides riding lessons for all levels and ages of riders as well as competitive and non- competitive riders. Our lessons are taught by Equestrian Canada certified riding Instructors & Coaches.


Group lessons:  Lesson groups are matched by level in groups of up to 4-5 riders.  Lessons are 1 hour long (45 minutes long if only 3 students) and will work on a variety of skills appropriate to the level of group.

 

Private lessons:  Private lessons are 30 - 45 minutes long and can be taken with any Instructor or coach. One on one coaching time is valuable to acquire and improve skills quickly.


Semi-private lessons:  Riders can request semi-private lessons with 1 or 2 other students. Lessons are 45 minutes long for 2 students and 1 hour for 3 students.

LEASING


Members may increase their participation by considering leasing or part leasing one of our wonderful horses. Lease packages are completely customizable. Leases include a minimum of one weekly lesson and scheduled practice rides. 


Benefits include bonding with a single horse, similar to horse ownership with less cost & commitment. Leasers will have consistency riding the same horse in lessons resulting in more continuous skills development. 


Leasers get priority to use their leased horse when competing with the show team or participating in our club activities. 

BOARDING

  

At Meadowvale the horse's care is a top priority. 


Indoor Board

  • 12 X 12 or 10X12 Box stall with rubber matting
  • Daily turnout in small groups with hay and water (heated in winter)
  • Grain fed twice daily & hay fed 3 times daily (or unlimited) 
  • Turnout on quality pasture during the summer months
  • Tack locker in heated tack room
  • Scheduling and holding horse for routine vet and farrier visits
  • Full access to all our facilities and hacking trails 
  • Discounted rates for boarders in our lesson program


Outdoor Board 
  • Outdoor accommodation in a paddock with a shelter and water troughs (heated in winter)
  • Hay fed 3 times per day, unlimited hay provided in winter 
  • Turnout on quality pasture in summer months. 
  • Grain fed once daily
  • Tack locker in heated tack room
  • Scheduling and holding horse for routine vet and farrier visits
  • Full access to all facilities and hacking trails
  • Discounted rates for boarders in our lesson program
